Books about mindfulness that could transform your life
Recently I had an interesting conversation with a woman I had studied with. As we talked, she was sitting in an Ashram in India whereas I was sitting in a set-up office space in my Canadian’s family home gym. We hadn’t seen or talked in over two years and catching up, sharing the stories of how our life’s have changed was truly inspiring.
„Would you be willing to share with me you favorite books about mindfulness and emotional intelligence? There is so much out there and I know you are in this sphere for a while now and have read a lot, so I would really appreciate your recommendations.“
Because my curiosity around these topics and insatiable, her request made me sit down to stop, reflect and create a list. So here it is:
PEACE IN EVERY STEP by Thich Nhat Hanh
SEARCH INSIDE YOURSELF by Chade-Meng Tan
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE by Daniel Goleman
STILL THE MIND by Alan Watts
MINDSIGHT: The New Science of Personal Transformation by Dr. Dan Siegel
AFTER THE ECSTASY, THE LAUNDRY by Jack Kornfield
REAL HAPPINESS by Sharon Salzberg
SEVEN PRACTICES OF A MINDFUL LEADER by Marc Lesser
WHY BUDDHISM IS TRUE by Robert Wright
THE SPIRIT OF BUDDHISM by Sogyal Rinpoche
FLOURISH by Martin Seligman
